Acne rosacea?

Whether it is oily skin, the odd spot, or acne; the underlying cause is a result of hormonal fluctuations which cause the skin to become sensitive to a particular hormone called DHT. Our skin’s hormonal sensitivity fluctuates on a daily basis, but at different stages in a person’s lifetime like puberty, menopause, pregnancy, or due to long-term stress, this fluctuation away from the normal can be significant enough to lead to increased sensitivity to DHT. This DHT sensitivity starts a chain reaction which causes the skin to lose moisture-protecting fats, causing an increase in the production of many more skin cells which in turn die quicker than usual, causing dead skin and debris to increase. In addition, the skin produces more of a substance known as ‘keratin’ - this makes our nails strong. This build up in keratin causes the skin to thicken, which - with the dead skin debris - blocks and causes a plug of dead skin and oil to form. This plug blocks the entrance to the oil ducts in the skin and DHT sensitivity causes these oil-producing glands to release more oil. The resulting build up of oil and debris causes a pimple and creates the ideal breeding ground for a type of bacteria known as p.acnes, which feeds on the excess oil and dead skin cells and releases chemicals which cause inflammation, as waste. This combination of clogged pores, bacteria growth, trapped oil and inflammation causes a spot to form and appear on the skin's surface.
85% of the global population at some point in their lives suffers from acne. Of these people:
-68% are between the ages of 12 and 25
-15% are over the age of 30
Other people can just have troublesome oily skin. The average acne sufferer has the condition for between six and eight years, and a large number - whatever the severity of their symptoms - will seek some form of acne treatment.
One product in particular that I've found to be an exceptional acne treatment is Aknicare and one for Rosacea called Synchrorose. Check out the websites below for detailed information about the conditions and the solution.

Did you know you can do both. Talk to your doctor about it my sister she's 23 has had acne for about the last 3 years. She tried tons of over the counter drugs but when I took her to the dermatoligist the doc. prescribed her an oral antibiotic, metrogel for her face and another cream that drys up the skin to eliminate the redness. I have seen a great difference in her face. And they told her to continue that treatment for the next 3 mo.
