Help Big Ear Lobe!?
Question:
Answers:
It's not a zit. These lumps can be quite common in people who have had peirced ears, and even in people who don't.
It's very likely a sebaceous cyst, kerotid scar or a blocked duct deep within the ear. It shouldn't hurt unless it starts to press on nerve endings inside the earlobe, which your boyfriend's seems to have done. These lumps often fade by themselves after a few weeks, but if it doesn't and it still hurts, it will be worth going back to the doctor (maybe a different doctor) and seeing what else can be done. Sometimes minor surgery can be useful in removing these.
When it comes back he needs to see a dermatologist. They may want to do a biopsy
If its permanant sort of zit that is grossing you out, Get a new boyfriend.
Its more than likely a zit, try wiping it everyday with surgical spirit, that way any infection should be gone and stay away, but it must be done everyday without fail.
