Red Bump on my hip?

Question:
I have had a fleshy red bump the size of a quarter on my hip for a few days. it doesn't hurt but it's warm and kinda itches. I thought it could be a bite of some sort but wouldn't the swelling have gone down by now? what is it and should i get it checked out?

Answers:
Sounds like a hive. Allergic hives. But it could be a hive caused by nerves too. And if you worry too much about the allergic hive on your hip, you'll get more hives. It's a vicious circle.

Either that or it could be excema, which is a skin condition. Either way, take Benedryl, and put Benedryl cream on the hive.
Yes.
If it gets bigger you could be in big trouble.

Ok, gross picture warning (spider bites)

No idea what it is. It will probably go away soon enough. But get yourself right to the doctor if any of the following happens:

1. It gets bigger.
2. It's still there in a week.
3. You feel any other symptoms, like fever, all-over aches, dizziness, etc.

Good luck!
