Drinking A LOT of water?

Question:
I drink a good amount of water all day long, but I get REALLY thirsty right before I go to bed so I drink a lot of water...and then I'm up all night peeing. I can't help it! Is there something medically wrong with me? And I try to stay away from really salty foods.

Answers:
I agree. You probably need to get tested, if for no other reason than to possibly rule out anything serious. If it is a serious condition, how much better to know so that you can take the necessary steps to get medication that will help preserve your health.
Have you been tested for diabetes? Usually when a person reports being always thirsty, it's caused by hyperglycemia (high blood sugar). If it continues, go to your doctor.
i agree with the people above me that you should get tested for diabeties. Maybe you should also try this: drink as much water as you want during the day, drink all the way up to an hour b4 you go 2 bed. go to the bathroom right before bed, even if you dont have to go. you will be glad later when you dont have to get up in the middle of the night. when you wake up in the morning go to the bathroom again. then you can start drinking water again. i hope i helped
