Is this considered "bulimic"?
Question:

Technically it's not puke, so i'm just wondering if this is bulimic behavior or what?
Answers:
Yes it is. "forcefully make it come up" If it was by accident it wouldn't be
i would consider it a type of bulimia because you are forcing your self to purge when you have an acid reflux. if it happens too often, like after every meal it is considered bulimia. its an unhealthy habit.
here is the rule: if you even have to ask, its yes
bulimic is considered to have phsycological aspects. So, if I understand you- I'd say no.
Bulimia is a voluntary action with underlying psychological background, but acid reflux is involuntary and is a manifestation of some changes in the function of the esophagus and stomach associated with eating habits like preferring foods with high fat content and lifestyle characters as smoking, drinking alcohols and coffee.
If your epiglottis locks up and you can't eat before removing some food by regurgitating, you have a hiated hernia. This also can be caused while eating at stressful or emotionally charged moments. There is behavior modification and surgery that can eliminate it. If you continue to have acid reflux, not only will you damage your esophagus but also the enamel of your teeth. Until you get proper treatment for bulimia, or acid reflux or whatever, rinse your mouth with water every time after regurgitation, don't brush with toothpaste instead.
