What could be causing these itchy bites?

Question:
On Tuesday morning, I woke up with 3 small light pink bumps near my knee. They itched pretty bad and with each day that went by, the 3 small light pink bumps got a little bigger (dime-sized) and turned a purple color. Yesterday, I went to the hospital, because I was worried that they still hadn't gone away yet. The DR there thought they might have been some kind of spider bite, but couldn't confirm it. He did a blood test and everything was fine. Yesterday evening I got 2 more small pink bumps on my thigh. I'm getting worried. I was thinking of going to another DR tomorrow. Should I go to a regular DR or a DERM or another kind of DR? Has anyone experienced this before and might know what it is? (I haven't done anything differently and do not own any pets) Thanks so much, I appreciate it.

Answers:
Probably spiders.

Little buggers can be about anywhere even in the cleanest house.

You can buy "Bug Bomb" that you set off in your house/appartment/flat and keep it closed up for an hour or two...

You could set them off before you leave for work and they should rid the house of critters before you get home.

g-day!
chiggers
i hate them things.
misquito bite?
Bed bugs?Spider?Mosquite West nile? I think termites only bite wood but naybe termites.
Have you examined under and around the bed? It does sound like a spider bite. I would set off one of those foggers in my room and then change all the bed linens just in case there is a nest of spiders in the bed springs or something. Sorry that happened.
You've got the "coodies"
Buy aerosol spray for bugs and spread on your bed from a close distance. Do that on both sides. do this in the morning so by night time it want be that smelly. U will never a bite again.
I live in the tropics and they do sound like spider bites. Your pet may have fleas and your alergic to there bites!
Yes, they could be spider bites, and they could be getting into your bed. I would check the windows for any trace of spiders, also check around the room for any traces, webs, etc. Bomb your bedroom with bug bombs, change your sheets and wash your pillows. They should go away.

(The same thing happened to my boss, he finally found the small, almost invisible to the eye, spiders. He told me there were hundreds of them, baby spiders, and they were all around his room and in his bed. Bombing, cleaning the window sills, dusting, and sheet changing got rid of them.)

Good luck!
it sounds like you have bed bugs i am so sorry b/c those are hard to get rid of check the seams of your mattress and box spring they can even get inside those too and check the back of your headboard everywhere even the screw holes if you find any bugs or black specks anywhere (poo) then you have bed bugs
