I just found out my mom has liver disease..shes 45?

Question:
She was diagonosed with a rare disease of the liver , supposedly only found in women. They said she has had it for along time. I lost my dad in 2005 and I don't know what to do if I lose my mom too. I feel like I am going to lose it!! Please any advice on how to deal.

Answers:
well, what does she have? it could be something relatively benign and be cured. just have some faith and try to help her through this time. i'm sure she's scared of causing you more pain, especially after you and she lost your dad...so you have to keep your spirits up to keep her spirits up...!
don't focus on yourself and your feelings now, your mother NEEDS your support and love now more than ever.

Your mother was there for you as a baby, it is now your turn to be there for her, NO MATTER how hard it may be, you can find the inner strength ....

Make every day with her count as her last one with you, this is not a time for your mother to be worrying about your sorrow.

Make memories with her now, that will last the rest of your life. take her for short trips, make her LAUGH and please consider seeking a grief counselor and check into hospice care for your mother!
Bless both of you, will be thinking of you both.
