Why is my friend coughing blood?
Question:
i dunno why he is coughing blood and is he dangerous (he told me he have no history of tb or pnumonia incident though). And I dunno how to advice if he should stop being too touchy feely with his gf cos he might contaminate ppl if he's really dangerous... I hate to act like I am avoiding to be contaminated but sometimes he just want to kiss ppl and be too close.

if he hwas been to hospital, they would have told him if he was contagious or not. if not, dont worry about it.
I don't know how old your friend is, but if he's a teenager, his parents need to be told. Since he doesn't know why he's vomiting blood, I believe he needs to GET TO THE E. R.
coughing or vomiting blood? in any case, he should see a doctor ASAP.
it could be a lot of things, both infectious and non-infectious. at this point it will be hard to tell and it is still better to take standard precautions.
he needs to GO BACK TO THE ER!
