I have just started using Medik 8 - Red Alert. It is supposed to be the best on the market. Results take up to 6wks.
I have been using it for 3weeks and I would say that I am starting to see a difference.
I have tried many other things, but none so far have worked.
I bought Medik 8 from Beauty Expert. Internet site.
The best advice for anyone who thinks that he or she might have rosacea is to see a dermatologist as early as possible. Experts believe early diagnosis and treatment not only control the signs and symptoms of rosacea, but might actually reverse progression. Early treatment can prevent blood vessels from enlarging and rhinophyma from developing.

When left untreated, rosacea often becomes worse and more difficult to treat—especially if it progresses to telangiectasia and rhinophyma. People who have these more advanced signs of the disease, however, should not give up hope. They, too, can be treated and their signs alleviated.

Available Treatments
Dermatologists, while unable to cure rosacea, have a variety of treatments that diminish the disease’s signs and symptoms. According to a study of 1,077 rosacea patients, 87 percent said their rosacea was under control with treatment.1 Today’s treatments range from topical products and oral medications to treat the papules and pustules, to laser therapy for treating visible blood vessels on the face and laser surgery for rhinophyma.

Dermatologists often use a combination of treatments, depending on individual patients’ needs. Sometimes doctors prescribe both an oral antibiotic and a topical product. The following describes treatments used for the various signs and symptoms of rosacea:
I would recommend Calendula. I use am organic calendula based cream that you can get from health food stores and it works wonders!

i would also recommend alkaliasing your diet to try and stop acidic sweat from aggravating the condition.
i couldn't come near Trauma nrvs answer so i say take her advice
If you're not already on medication, get it treated by a dermatologist- antibiotic tablets and gels are the usual treatments. If it's very bad, you may be prescribed ROACCUTANE- It works fantastically well-I've been on it 4 or 5 times, as I have severe Rosacea.

To cover any remaining redness/broken veins, I use VEIL cover cream & powder (available on prescription). Look on the Net. DERMABLEND is good too.

Laser treatment is meant to work, to get rid of redness, but isn't available on N.H.S.

I don't drink alcohol, and avoid or cut down on things that trigger my Rosacea... anything containing ginger, chillies, citrus fruits, tomatoes, onions. I also use cool water to wash my face, wear a sunblock (SPF 50) and drink lots of cold water.
