Sometimes I can't take a deep breathe!?
Question:
Answers:
I don't know what it means but it happens to me too. I'm 49 and have been experiencing this for years.
It only happens sometimes but it is a bit disconcerting when it happens. It's almost like I feel I'll never breathe again. But it doesn't necessarily happen when I'm stressed or tired or anything. I don't have asthma either.
When it happens, I just need to try a few times and eventually I get a good breath.
The good news is I've suffered no ill effects from this odd situation and I'm sure you won't either.
I've never known of anyone else who had this. Now I don't feel like such an oddball.
May be a sign of asthma or you could have a blockage in your throat. Bring it up at your next doctors visit.
maybe you do have asthma..if you had broncitis it can damage your lungs from a previous illness. Go to the doctor and ask for a Breath Test to see how deep you can breath.
well if ur struggling to take a deep breath and u feel a restriction/contraction in ur lungs, it may be asthma. otherwise, im not sure but it isnt asthma if u can take clear breaths
I don't know what causes it, but the same thing happens to me... maybe like once a month or less.
I had the same thing in MY teens, but I got a sharp chest pain at he same time. It was diagnoised as angina (heart). I had it treated and it went away.
You might have reactive airways (asthma). You should ask your doctor about your symptoms and maybe suggest a bronchodilator like Albuterol or Levalbuterol (Xopenex). If it is consistent then you might need to take a corticosteroid on a daily basis.
