What type of meds do u take for heart rate?


Question:
I was wondering if anyone takes meds for fast heart rate?
with or with out high blood preasure.If so what kind.mine have all seem to make me flush or have faster rate with in 2 hrs of taking them.or shortness of breath.is there any out there that is just right.?where you dont feel nothing except your heart doent beat fast any more?

I don't know what you currently take, but sounds like you could be having adverse effects. Check with your pharmacist and your doctor if needed. A class of drugs to lower BP by lowering pulse are beta-blockers. Such as Inderal. Lanoxin slows and strenghens the heart rate. In any case your pharmacist will be glad to answer questions, which may require a phys visit. Check and record BP and pulse prior to each dose of whatever your taking, for a baseline record. This will be helpful to the doc.
I am not sure. They have meds that u can take for your heart. But I am not sure what kind they are.
