How do I know if I might have developed a nodule in my vocal chords?

Question:
I'm a female by the way

Answers:
the only certain way to diagnose it is to see an otolaryngologist (ent doc).
i think i have one (which is really not good because im into playing guitar and singing) one of the signs is your voice will crack or "hop" sorta like when a boy is going thru puberty, you could also lose your voice just like someone would who is suffering from strep or something, sometimes it just feels like theres something in there like you want to clear it. you can very easily have a doctor check it out i think all they have to do is shine a light down there. i need to get in myself.
If it hurts when you sing or talk, don't do it. If you are worried, have an ear, nose and throat specialist check out your vocal chords.
