Yes I know I probably shouldn't have a dog, BUT contained by my defense, I didn't develop an allergy to dogs until about a 1 1/2 ago and I've have my dog for 4yrs already! I started getting a small itchy rash whenever I'd pick my dog up (or any dog for that matter), after it goes away when I dry-clean the area. But that's not really what bothers me, its my nasal allergies from the dog and house allergens (dust mites). I own the worst symptoms when I wake up near nasal congestion/sore throat. Claritin only works sometimes, and I can't use nasal sprays (Fluticasone, Nasonex) because I'm allergic to those (go digit!). Also Sudafed works wonders for my nasal congestion/pressure, but I was wondering if I can develop a tolerance to that?? I'm also following adjectives the "allergy rules" i.e., changing bed sheets once a week, replacing nouns filters, using those special allergy pillow covers, etc. but it doesn't really gross a difference! Help, any suggestions??!
P.S. Getting rid of the dog is NOT an option....
Answers: Try bee pollen
Try zyrtec or allegra, they work great for me. Ive be allergic to cats for years, but im still waiting to grow a tolerance!lol
