What can I do for super dry, cracked, and crusty feet?

Question:
MY GRANDMA'S FEET ARE REALLY DRY, CRACKED, AND CRUSTY.

ANYONE KNOW WHAT I CAN DO FOR HER TO GET HER FEET BACK TO BEING SOFT AND SUPLE?

I HAVE TRIED REGULAR FOOT LOTIONS AND THEY HELP A LITTLE BUT NOT 100%. I HAVE ALSO TRIED COATING HER FEET IN VASELINE AND PUTTING SOCKS ON HER OVER NIGHT FOR SEVERAL NIGHTS. IT SOFTENS THEM A LITTLE BUT NOT ENOUGH TO GET RID OF THE CRACKS.

ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Answers:
Poor granny! If she can handle it, have her soak her feet and give them a good scrub with a pumice stone or with an exfoliating scrub. There are also cream exfoliants, but they may be too harsh for her skin. You can mix them with foot lotion. Then use it as you would normally use lotion on her feet. Put on a pair of socks so it absorbs in. This should work in a few days.

If it does not, she may need to see a doctor. Sometimes this can be a result of a skin infection.
moisturizers. also, nice one, all caps. WHY ARE YOU YELLING?!
Soaking them in warm water and then using a pumice stone regularly will help a great deal (however, if she is diabetic have her check with her doctor before doing this). I have found that warming a little bit of honey in the microwave (for just a few seconds) until is gets a runny consistency and then applying it to my feet, with cotton socks before bedtime, has helped a great deal. However, your grandmother, I would assume, is no longer young, and her feet are never going to be a supple as a youngsters.
