Would a vibrator affect an implanted defibrillator?

Question:

Answers:
i have an icd and no vibrators does not affect the devise in fact if you go to the companys web page they will tell you what to say away from
I dont think so...I have never even thought about it, but I would think it would be fine
Unlikely but there is that possibility. Since vibrator rely on electric motors, and electric motors can cause electrical interferience then it is possible that the interferience could impact your defibrillator.

You can get an idea of how much interference your vibrator is producing by turning it and an AM radio on. If you AM radio is effected by the vibrator and gives you lots of static when it is turned on and moved near the radio then your vibrator is using cheap motors and they are causing interference.

I wouldn't expect a quality device to have a problem.
