Hypoglycemia. I thought chromium would be beneficial...?

Question:
but taking 1 chromium picolinate tablet a day seems to make it worse. Is that possible or am I imagining things?

Answers:
Chromium picolinate is a potentiator of insulin (which means that it helps insulin move sugar out of the bloodstream and into the body's cells). This can increase any hypoglycemic tendencies that you may have. Talk to your doctor about this.
By the way, many chromium supplements have, somewhere on the label, a warning that they may reduce blood sugar.

Hope this helps!
