What type of doctor should I see about hair loss?

Question:
Does anyone visit doctor and get good result? What is their suggestion and treatment?

Answers:
I'd probably go to my family doctor first & get a referral.
At first, you could try visit a dermatologist or endocrinologist. Most of the times, hair-loss treatment is not permanently successful. There are special shampoos you can use, but they can only delimit or temporarily stop hair loss. If you stop using them, hair loss will probably go on. But I am not a doctor, you should consult one of the above types of doctors.
Endocrinologist. They specialize in hormones and the body's' glands that produce hormones, along with other glands in the body. If certain hormones are elevated/decreased they can affect hair growth/hair loss. Until certain tests are done, their suggestion/treatment will vary from person to person. However, you should check with your primary Doc so that he/she can rule out any underlying physical problem. I hope that this helps.
