Hand surgery?
Question:
Answers:
It could be the tendons have come loose, and knotted up, or scar tissue, built up. I have had 8 surgeries on my hand, and had the first wrist replacement (alive patient) for this special procedure (new). But the other thing it could be, very common is a cyst, they are called ganglion cysts, I have had three removed. But in the old days (way way back) people used to smack their hands with a book to rupture them (ouch!) now they do it in the office usually and it is done by dermatologist and/or an ortho doctors, if that is what it is. Probably need to re- x-ray it to be sure, or use fluoroscope to have your doctor look at it, if it were a cysts they grow roots, more complicated then, if that happens. Have it checked-wouldn't wait. Thanks. tash
It is possible it could be bone calcifications as it heals. You might want to get an x-ray to make sure it healed properly and if it has it is most likely where the bone has calcified as the fracture healed.
no clue
I would bet my bottom dollar it's bone calcification. I had a similar occurance and my doctor suggested, since it was NOT painful, that I wait a year and then decide what to do about it. It was gone in about 9 months and has not returned.
Good luck, don't worry - it won't help.
