Question about chest deformities?


Question:
I have pectus excavatum pretty bad it's also known as inverted pigeon wall sunken or funnel chest. I occasionally have a squeezing feeling on the right side of my heart it doesn't hurt so much but irritates it. I was wondering If anyone has every died from this birth defect and if theres anyway i can fix it without surgery but if i have to get surgery what do you recommend ravitch or nuss procedure and why?
