My daughter has something that looks like a blood blister on her face...?

Question:
My 6 yr old daughter had what I first though was a pimple. I figured it would go away. It has grown and has now been there for 3 months. It is filled with blood, we tried to pop it once and it bled profusely until it filled back up. She complains that it itches. Does anyone have any idea what it is?

Answers:
I know it seems odd -- but, is it a tic? These filthy little bugs can attach anywhere, and . . . can look like a mole or a blister sometimes.

Take her to the doctor and have it checked out!
Have her see the MD as soon as you can. My friends daughter had this (the bleeding is what makes me think it's the same)
Just see what it could be - she had hers removed and it grew back, but it's gone now.
Haemangiomas - have it looked in to -
take her to the doctor?

i agree with kelly, that, to me sounds like a hemangioma, check this site out maybe it would help. i have a niece who is now 2yrs old who has one right in the middle of her forehead. when she was born, her forehead was "normal", but as she started to get a couple of weeks old it started to look like a small scratch on her head. we thought maybe she scratched herself. it then got bigger and bigger about the roundness of a quarter (coin) and sticks out about as thick as maybe 5 or 6 quarters (coins). it may itch because it might be still growing, but yeah, to get a definite and professional answer, the doctor might be the best choice and i hope all goes well
Please, see a doctor who knows about skin disorders. My son was just a little fellow when he started growing this blood colored round thing on his forehead. It just kept growing and growing! Our doctor froze it, and it never returned.
