Is this the symptom of an underlying brain aneurysm?

Question:
sometimes i've noticed if I'm at a theater watching a movie or just sitting and watching a movie or at the computer for a long time, the right side of my neck, (top right area where the neck meets the base of my skull) starts to hurt a little (cramp more like an ache type of pain). Once I get up and walk around it immediately goes away or if i rub my eyes, the pain would leave. I'd like some expert opinions, is this due to poor posture; spending too much time looking at a screen and got neck cramps? Or could this be an underlying brain aneurysm? Why would this be on my right side of the neck and not the left side? Anyone have this experience before? Could it be the way Im sitting in the theater that it causes this little pain? What are some symptoms of unrupurted brain aneurysms. Can neurologists detect it right away?

Answers:
It is possible to detect an aneurysm by injecting dye into the blood vessels and taking a few "x-rays". They cannot, in most cases tell it by a physical exam. Your problem may be eye strain, have your eyes checked. That's about the least expensive way to start.
Do you have a family history of aneurysms? I thought that they were asymptomatic only to be diagnosed with xray studies. (Or it may be you are defining the symptoms of aneurysms that everyone brushes off as stiff neck ). But the probability you have an aneurysm is quite low
