See your MD, schedule a stress test, lab work to determine cholesterol and other levels. The results could lead to more invasive measures to determine risk and damage,including but not limited to cardiac catheterization.
The only way to know what's going on in your arteries is have an angiogram/cardiac cath.
But the following would give you an idea you have a serious problem with your arteries: Positive stress test or chest pain

You would need to go to your doctor and get a scan done. They might want to do a scope - where they go through your leg vein to see inside your heart. My husband had it done, it wasn't too bad. They can give you a pretty good idea of what your risk of a heart attack is.
Progressive fatique, with shortness of breath might be an indicator. Some doctors can also detect sluggish blood flow in the arteries by touch. WIthout change of habits, they only get worse.
I had severely clogged arteries, and they had no clue until three weeks before I needed a triple bypass. Good collaterals from previous exercise saved my life. But most people do not have them.
