Hiccups after endoscopic sinus surgery..is this normal, related or has nothing to do with the operation?

Question:
lots of nose bleeding as well.

Answers:
It's probably not "directly" related. Hiccups in general are caused by diaphragm movement that is not in "sync" with your breathing (not going with the flow, so to speak). It is probably more to do with the nose bleeds than the endoscopy. You're probably coughing from the nose bleed dribbling down your airway... which is then causing all the hiccups. Coughing and hiccups tend to go hand in hand.

Good luck.
