My sincere advise is to have your treatment reviewed by your consultant, if still not satisfied take a second opinion.
sounds like your synthroid dose is too high. it took them a while to get my dose right and i had to be put on atenol for rapid heart rate till the dose was right. i know its exhausting mine was that way for about 6 months. it is hard to sleep with your heart thumping in your ear. my heart rate use to run about 130 beats a minute with me sitting still. and 150-170 depending on my activities. be sure you tell you doctor because it is dangerous. good luck! hope u feel better soon
tell the doctor who prescribed those medication imediatly that you are experiencing this. the meds may be causing this condition
It is wise to repeat your thyroid profile...
A little too much thyroxine (above 125 milicentigrams) can cause palpitations, "double heartbeat", insomnia, palpitations, fast heartbeats, tremors, and tiredness the next morning.
Contact your GP, and you will have to stop all Synthroid 2 weeks before the new thyroid peofile, (blood thyroxine, triiodothyronine resine absorption, and thyroid gammagraphy and TSH or thyrostimulant hormone levels,) will be needed
before anything can seriusly decided.
My opinion, is that your GP will have to adjust your Synthroid (thyroxine ) dose.
