Is it Asthma?

Question:
Ok, i havn't been to the doctor for allergies in a while, but i have a feeling i may have asthma. It usually only happens when I do physical activities, but my chest tightens up, and i cannot seen to get big enough breaths. It can even happen while lifting weights, or playing football. I have a feeling it is sports endused, but i would like to know how it is fixed?

Answers:
Usually for exercised induced asthma, all you have to do is take a puff or 2 just before you start exercising. It will usually last around 4 hours. Or if you want to wait until you start getting the tightness, take the inhaler as soon as it starts happening. It only takes a couple minutes for it to start working and you should have the full relief in 15 minutes. The drug of choice is called albuterol. Don't let them give you Advair because you don't need it.
Could be. I have a friend who ran track and had similar symptoms. She was given an inhaler to use and it seemed to work fine. Now that she's not doing sports, the symptoms have gone.
Go to the doctor...it probably is asthma
it could be but just in case go to the doctors
yeah you may have asthma.go to your doctor, and tell him your symptoms...he can do some tests to determine if that is what it is, and if it is asthma, then the doc can prescribe you some inhalers.
