Question:
My friend has had an illness for two mths now it began after haing a few drinks on a boat out in the sun.she ate a pinch of a boiled crab. She was on Cynbalta and trazadone for 3 weeks. Her head began itching & hands. she woke up the in morning her lips swollen & eyes & during the day she got a rash all over. Her palms & feet itching. She had stomach pain cramping suddenly running to the bathroom. havng an explosion she got relief. it would come & go. She went to urgent care ctr was told it wasnt the meds and got a steroid shot & sent home with Visteril Zertec & Zantac. She got relief two days later everything returned. In two weeks she went to 2 ER's was told to stop Cymbalta given Steroid shot . 4 days returned. was taken off Trazadone & given Steroid dose pack. 5 days all returned. Went to allergist was told it was parasite. Stool sample & blood drawn. All results were negative. She is still having the problems & now doesnt know where to turn.
Any ideas on what this is

OMG-that sounds like a parisitic infection.
IT takes awhile to get back to normal after such a severe reaction to the med or whatever wait another week if get worse go back to DR
