What is the best food to eat when you have a bad gall bladder?

Question:
my gall bladder is bad but i can't get it taken out just yet because of money problems so i need to know what i can eat that won't upset my stomach

Answers:
A low fat diet as possible is the answer. I assume you have stones?

One thing you can do is to eliminate all sources of partially hydrogenated oils from your diet. There is research to show that these are one of the biggest reasons gall stones develop.
you should not have any food that has any fat in it! Nothing that is too acidic. Try eating carbs (bread, pasta, potatoes) and lean turkey or fish. Try not to eat tomatoes. No Fatty foods for sure!
I just talked to my Dr. about this...

He advised me to assist my digestion process to help the gall bladder. I take a digestive tablet from the health food store that contains Papaine & HCL, I also use Acidophilus (strawberry is my favorite). I also eat yogurt daily and stay away from fried and spicy foods. Since doing this, I haven't had any more gall bladder attacks.
