When a person is suffering from hypothyroidism, he or she has to take an extra care for hairs. Certain thyroid drugs like levothyroxine has hair loss as side effects. Another thing is to be kept in mind is, one should be sure that he or she is not under treated for thyroid dysfunction. Check out for your thyroid hormonal level regularly.

One has to go for multiple vitamins and especially evening primrose oil. There are some other techniques like alternative therapies including acupressure or acupuncture which can treat both; thyroid problem and hair loss at a time. There are certain herbs like Eclipta alba which is proven for treating the hair loss. Medicinal oils containing different herbs can solve this problem up to certain extent. Try to avoid using chemicals in soap and shampoos. Go for the herbal product.
