I have had 3 deep vein thrombosis. all three in left leg is it more common?why?

Question:

Answers:
In younger women, it can be caused by something called May-Thurner syndrome. This is caused by an artery compressing the left iliac vein. Not common, but something that should be considered in a young woman with no other risk factors.

You also should've had testing for hypercoagulability conditions.
