A stomach virus is also known as the flu or food poisioning! Depending on the severity of the virus,it could last from a couple of days to a week or more. The symptoms of a stomach virus can be very serious because dehydration can happen so quickly. Here are they symptoms for a stomach virus:

Projectile vomiting non stop,everything and anything that you try to drink or eat,you will end up projectile vomiting

Severe diarrhea,and in some cases not to be gross,but some people get projectile diarrhea too,I am not kidding I am serious!

Fever or the chills,you may be burning up one minute and have the chills the next.

Even the smell or thought of food will make you vomit

Migraine Headaches are very common while having a stomach virus because you are so dehydrated,and you can't keep anything down,naturally you will develop a migraine type headache.

Shaking: Your whole body might shake from feeling cold and ill.

All you will want to do is sleep if you are not running to the bathroom to throw up or have diarrhea.

A stomach virus is nothing to fool around with,and did you know that children and the elderly are at the highest risk, because they dehydrate quicker than adults do,and they could die from the stomach virus if they aren't take to a doctor for treatment!

A "stomach virus" could be any virus that's causing gastro intestinal symtpoms. Most times, they're gone in less than a week. It really depends on the specific virus, however.
mostly it is caused by the degree of sour in the stomach if you use nexium it is mostly over in two or three day's so not go to a doctor
Well i had this once, and it made me lose 20 punds in a week, lol. I don't know what it is but its like diarea*spelling* and it hurts your stomach all the time. I got some pills for it and it was gone in a month.
