Can being anemic and having diabetes kill you?

Don't worry. The worrying can kill you. I went to an allergist & they took my blood pressure like 5 times! The Dr. told me to see my family doctor RIGHT AWAY!! That was because my blood pressure was high. I was freaked out. I knew it was a bit high but I was so worried. I put off going. I finally did go & my doctor wasn't "worried." I'm not on medication. He just told me to walk which I'm doing. I know I should lose weight & eat better...it's about what you want and what you're going to do about it.
I'm anemic too. I've taken iron pills in the past I just don't worry about it. If you're that freaked out start out slow & cut out the bad foods & exercise.
No you're fine as long as your doctor is aware of this you can get the proper treatment. As long as you take your medicine and listen to your body and rest when your body say so,you'll be fine. It's best if you tell your OBGYN this also since you're pregnant!lol I read some of your other questions. That's how I know.Take care
Diabetes alone can kill you. There is the risk of heart failure, kidney failure, loss of circulation and other things. Being anemic does not help with the overall health. Anemia is common with pregnacy and in a lot of cases, so is diabetes. Get good medical advise and follow the doctors instructions. There are several groups that have a wealth of information. The American Diabetes Association is an excellent source. In most cases of pregnancy diabetes, it is a weight associated problem. Diet does contribute.
