How long does it take to get rid of gigivitis and how do you get rid of it?

Question:

Answers:
this depends on how severe the gingivitis is. have you seen your dentist recently? if not-how can you be sure you have gingivitis?

sometimes, if you brush or floss too hard-the gums will bleed.

i would start off by making an appt to see your dentist to make sure this is indeed what you have.

-brush at least 3 times a day (i bring a travel toothbrush to work with me) and floss at least once (i do it twice, once in the am and once before bed). you can also use a mouthwash like crest prohealth (i use this one) or listerine to help kill any germs that are left behind after brushing.

-make sure to have you teeth checked about every 6 months by your dentist
Ive had it most of my life, some people are more susceptible to it than others, if youre trying to avoid going to the dentist you probably wont ever totally cure it, But Listerine helps reverse the effects after about a week.
