Its 4th day after partial removal of thyroid she is having difficulty to drink water?

Her voice is back to normal and feels ok .
Next week have an appointment with the doctor,if anyone has gone through this plz let me know more,thanks.

My suggestion is to go read up on the condition and then get support on this one thyroid board. Great people there.
Had my thyroid removed, but did not have complications. I know nerve damage to the vocal cords can happen, but she has no problems speaking.
Not being a doctor, I can only guess another nerve may have been damaged. I also had a lymph node removed on the side of my neck and after the removal I had numbness in my face and neck for a while.
