Why would a person get blood clots in their lungs?

Question:
My son-in-law has been hospitalized twice for blood clots.First time only in lung.Last time 2 in lungs, one in leg.He is young how?

Answers:
Sounds like he got DVT. Deep vein thrombosis is generaly caused either by heart problems, diabetes or inactivity causing the blood in deep veins in the leg to pool and eventually clot. This impedes flow to the legs, causing pain in the calf and thigh. In severe cases, a part of the clot breaks off and either heads off to the heart, lungs or brain. It's a serious condition.
Bukkake clot.
we all have blood clots flowing through us =they do get lodged in different places at times =ask your Dr if it is wise for your son to take children aspirin once a day
maybe he is diabetic or heavy smoker or has a strong family hx.
