Autism is something your born with, not something you develop. My brother is Autistic. There are many different levels of Autism, and there are traditional symptoms, but they vary from person, to person.
My nephew is autistic. He hardly makes a complete sentence. My sister rarely takes him anywhere b/c he can have an outburst (throwing fits, rages). He has just been diagnosed with a small case . She is gonna have him retested. He is 5 yrs old. Look it up on google it will tell u the symptoms.
Autism is a social and communication disorder. It is also called autism spectrum disorder because every child is different from mild to severe cases. Children on the autism spectrum may also present with other disorders such as sensory processing disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, hypotonia and a range of other issues.
There is a quote (I don't remember who said it), "When you've met one child with autism, you've met one child with autism." Every child has their own unique set of issues and abilities. Therapy and treatment that work for one child may not necessarily work for another.
