So blood work says take iron it has niacin in it my chloresterol medicine says it has niacin can i take both?

If you are still menstruating then iron supplements are common. Regular niacin supplements, (not flush-free or slow release), are probably safer in the longterm for you than cholesterol medicines, statins. If it were me I would just take the niacin, but ask your doctor.
Wonderful doctors you have, not. Can't they tell you how much iron you need to take in additional to what you get from your diet? Then you could just add up the grams or milligrams. Your body size, weight, age, would factor into it, and people on this answer page could only guess.
Yes, you can take both, at least for the short haul, but why not ask your doctor to get an exact dosage you will be needing?
