My girlfriend is diabetic an asks should she swallow as don't know suger content of sperm. Serious question!

well sperm contains protein if shes worried get her to check her blood sugar levels 2 hours before and 2 hours after .

Whatever she "consumes" can be managed with insulin. As long as she checks her blood sugar and compensates with the right amount of insulin, there shouldn't be a problem. Diabetics can consume sugar as long as they counter it with the right amount of insulin. So I'd say, have her check her blood sugar after and that shoud give you the answer. Might make her change her mind about doing that for you, though, if it means she has to take an extra shot . . .
if she wants to swallow she can, lol, won't do her any harm, and won't make any difference to her blood sugar either.
I'm pretty sure that this would be ok for her to do. As far as I know, the fluid should not contain any sugar content that would affect her condition. However, if she is too embarrassed to ask her specialist then,she should check her blood sugars levels before and after.

In San Francisco, in the 60's, there was a licensed doctor in the free press who had a similar question - girl wanted to know if her weight gain was due to "swallowing." His reply: a teaspoon of sugar is only 16 calories" As previously noted, sperm is mostly protein. so even if the seminal fluid was pure sugar, she's still only looking at about a tsp of sugar...testing is always in order, but I think the fluid is mostly water / interstitial fluid.
