Question:
I just got my lip re-pierced a couple of days ago. i had a mild cold/sinus infection and now it feels like the underside of my jaw is swollen. my lip got swollen but, it's going down and i remember it was uncomfortable at first the first two times i got it done before. now i'm up late with the pain and i have taken everything over the counter i can get my hands on to relieve the pain. how can i tell if this is because of the piercing or if it's just a really bad allergy/sinus infection or something else?

if the place is red or it is touchy..it's easy to get infection,,they sometimes dont sterilize their equipment as they should even if they say they do!
I would go get it checked out at the place you got it done, just to be safe, you never know.
