Question:
Hi -- Recently I have noticed my memory becoming almost useless... It has seemed to of progressed over the last 3 months or so.. I have no other symptoms but do know that Chronic Fatique syndrom runs in my family... its getting to the point that my head is so cloudy I have a hard time remembering where certain places are (in town) - my wife is beyond patient but is now concerned herself. I am only 30. from the best of my knowledge, all I can come up with is that is could possibly be due to heavy drinking from about 21 to 25?? but would that really cause my memory to shut down like this so many years later? When sipping on a single beer now days I get really cloud headed.... Either way I'll be seeing a doctor soon but any advice would be appreciated.

Good luck with your answers. I, too, am 30 and have felt the same way since last summer. I wrote it off as turning 30 or from the pot I smoked when I was younger but who knows.
I have read that B vitamins may help.
Really you need to see a doctor, but in the meantime, if you take inj. B1 B6 B12 which are neurovitamins, it may help. Avoid alcohol altogether, even beer.
Good luck!
Even Alzheimer's is suspected of having a clogged artery component.
Start eating a very heart/artery healthy diet, and try to do things that are mentally challenging. You can stimulate the brain to think better and remember more.
Heavy drinking ? Absolutely. Alcohol can pass thru the blood brain barrier and cause lots of damage.
