Is anyone allergic to blonding cream? Hair dye? Bleach?

I react badly, like my throat closes up, and I come out in tiny blisters wherever the dye has touched. And I get really itchy? Has anyone else had a reaction like this?

no, my reaction was different. My grandmother had the same reaction to bleaching and dye products and I did not know this was allergies until hair dye did me in twice.
For us, there was a terrible swelling behind the ears and extreme fatigue which lasts almost a week. When I had my first episode I went to the doctor and spent $100's on tests that were inconclusive. The next time I dyed my hair the same thing happened. I told my grandmother about the incidents at some point and she said "oh, that is exactly what happened to me when I was bleaching your aunt's hair when she was in high school."
I have not dyed my hair since (like 10 years or so) because over the years I develop new allergies and I am afraid of what could happen. Your throat closing up is life threatening so you should be very careful!
