Can a chawawa take away my son's allergies?

I have heard from elders that the dog, chawawa can actually take allergies away from children. Has anyone tried this before? Did it work?

I've never heard that before. The only thing I've heard is that if you have an allergy to dogs...then chihuahuas might be a good pet for you because some people claim that they don't bother their allergies like other dogs do.

But there is no magic that will take away allergies. Only an allergist can help you get allergies under control.
