My son, aged 11, has been feeling really sick for over 24 hours...?
Question:
The doctor won't come out as they don't do house calls anymore unless the person is very elderly or has cancer.
Answers:
Do you have any cola?If so,have him sip on that,it may help his tummy. They sell cola syrup especially for tummy problems.
Take your child to the doctor.
if it really concerns you take him to your nearest hospital for a check-up or the doctors tomorrow, hopefully he feels better soon. just demand to see the doctor, phone the nhs now and get an appointment or take him straight to casualty
yah.. bring him to the doctor... then he can have some tests done to see whats the problem
Phone NHS 24
If he is in pain and you can't get him to a doctor, then go to your accident and emergency department at the hospital. They will check him out, better be safe than sorry, it could be appendicitis.
I would take him to the ER if he's really that miserable. If you want to get him to throw up you could try ipecac, make sure you use very very little though. He will throw up until there's nothing left, and you're right he might feel a little better, but I would use it as a last resort, he will be throwing up for a good while.
If he doesn't get better soon, it would be best to take him to the ER.
Phone NHS Direct as already suggested if you are in the UK. Otherwise, it sounds like he has the same 'bug' as his sister, bugs can affect people differently, give it 24 hours, make sure he drinks even if he doesn't eat anything, maybe a hot water bottle on the belly, if no better in the morning or if he gets a high temperature, shivering etc., take him to your nearest A & E and get him checked out. Best wishes - A Mum of Three.
Take him to the hospital
I would take him to a walk in centre. If you call NHS Direct they will tell you where the nearest one is to you. UK no: 0845 4647. Hope this helps and your son is better soon.
im feel real sorry for your son send him best wishes
