Answer:
I'm hypothyroid. I started on Levoxyl, which did nothing for my symptoms. I eventually got a doctor to add Cytomel and it helped with many of the hypo symptoms. I'm now on Armour thyroid and about 95% of my symptoms are gone.

Yes, you can have babies with this problem. You will jus have to be monitored more often to make sure your thyroid levels are right. I have a friend who is hypothyroid and 8 months pregnant.

Below is a good thyroid site, so read up on it.

I had my thyroid tested -.05 and was told to have it retested in 6-8wks. Is that Normal?

Two people I work with in my office have thyroid problems - one has a hypothyroid condition (under production of thyroid hormone) and the other has a hyperthyroid condition (too much thyroid hormone). They do not have any symptoms.

Thyroid conditions are not curable but are completely treatable, so that there are no symptoms and no problems. Hypothyroid is treated by taking thyroid hormone. Hyperthyroid is treated with medicines or radiation to shrink the glands that secrete the hormones, or by surgery.

People with thyroid problems live completely normal lives, and can have children. G.W. Bush's father has a thyroid condition.

Soon after the onset of ventricular systole the ..?

I had a toxic nodule on my thyroid gland...was actually found when having a sonogram on my carotid arteries in my neck and when the person performing the test was moving to the other side she found an area on the thyroid....I was then given iodine radiation and afterwards, and ever since, been on Synthroid .088 dosage only once a day. Have been on that same dose for several years now, keep check of my TSH (blood check) once a year and its always good. I work many hours a day, I get tired some but who wouldn't with the hours I'm keeping and my age (will admit to over 50...lol..)
With the thyroid problem you also have to keep check on your heart rate ....or at the first while they are adjusting your medicine.
As for babies, I don't see why not as long as the doctor knows what medicine your own and keeps checking you.
