How do I know if it is a wart or a mole?
Question:
There is a bump on my head, about the size of an eraser at the end of a pencil. I have had this for about 9 years, I got them very shortly after I got over the chicken pox. I was 12 at the time so we just assumed it was scars.
However, I don't believe so anymore that I'm older. Sometimes, it swells up a tiny bit with transparent fluid, and i can deflate it but it does get sore and bleed like any part of the body.
It is the color of my skin (white), and I do have a few more on my body that I got at the same time, but these are not raised very high. I know for a fact that I did not have these at birth and I got them after I got the chicken pox.
The one in question is on my forehead, close to my left temple. I'd like to remove it of course because it is embarrassing and only hid by my hair when it gets long enough for a hair cut.
Answers:
i would have them looked at, honestly. go see a dermatologist, if you have insurance & can afford it, so that they can determine if it's more than a wart.
Those are warts, so hopefully you can get relief and remove them. Good Luck
Go to a dermatologist get it checked properly and then decide what to do. You may have to have it burned off or you may just want to do it anyway.
