Eucerin, I think I spelled that right is an over the counter lotion that my doc told me to get for my eczema, I sometimes get dry spots as well. It works great and is very thick and soaks into your skin, and its pretty cheap.
You should exfoliate your skin before putting on any lotion. Dove makes good stuff.
I have the same exact problem. Then I got this awesome lotion by Jergens brand. It is fairly cheap and can be found at places like Walmart, Target, and Sams Club. It works well on me and I have the toughest, driest skin immaginable. Trust me. I've been made fun of it all of my life! But if it wasn't that I'm sure it would be something else. Well I hope this works for you as well as it works for me. Remember to get the kind for extra dry skin.
my son has a skin disorder and we ve tried it all . pure vaseline intensive care lotions and just vaseline is the best that exists ... tip... put pure vaseling on ur hands caked on ... then put socks on ur hands while u sleep like that ... and socks if its on the feet .. take s a little but it will work! good luck !
My husband has severe dry skin and some of his fingers are like this and or split.
He swears by keeping them dry -
Corn Huskers lotion (found at the drug store with a yellow cap)
or Arbonne's hand cream.
You can try to use some pure vitamin e on the area too -
** do not use petroleum based products they harden your skin not soothe it (google this product is cheap not not effective contrary to what people think about it)
