You won't start to feel normal until your system has been cleansed of all toxins, just as all the previous posts have said. If you haven't seen the movie "The Lost Weekend" I would recommend it. While it is a very old movie (1945) there is a valuable lesson to be learned from it. Sometimes when you can see the situation you are in and how it effects all around you it will put the pain in prospective. Nothing but your will power and time will make the pain go away. I highly believe that group support could be the answer for your future.
Good luck. You should be proud of yourself that you took the biggest step possible in your life. You realized you have a problem and are doing something about it.
walk.
drink some more boose!! (MEHICANO!)
see a dr sounds like your having withdrawals
when you have a beer
(seriously, you don't have to quit cold turkey)
if you think you were/are an alcoholic, then you need to go to the ER. alcohol withdrawal is VERY serious stuff. people can get seizures, a very rapid heart rate and other problems. it seems like you're about to start having them...go to the ER.
when it is all out of your system
You really should go see a doc as you may have something more than alcohol withdrawl going on here. Go see a doc and get checked out and CONGRATULATIONS ON NO ALCOHOL FOR 4 DAYS!!!!!!! YEAH!!
It's called withdrawl symptoms. Sometimes these things will urge you to drink more so you can feel better immediately. It's really baddd so you should just try to hold on a bit longer. The phase will pass and you will feel better than ever before. No pain no gain
Those are withdrawl symptoms. It's gonna be hard, but endure it until it's out of your system. Godspeed.
your bodies detoxing, just drink lots of water, and stay rested
DONT drink otherwise youll have to start all over and go through those feelings again
Im guessing these are withdrawal symptoms. I would suggest drinking alcohol and slowly working your way to drinking almost no alcohol. That way your body wont be in such a shock when it gets its drug removed from it.
Go to the store and get some Gatorade. This should help you get rehydrated. Not worth it is it.
Just keep eating healthy and they say if you commit to do something everyday for 4 weeks it becomes first nature, eat healthy, excersize and have good karma for 4 weeks and you'll be amazed of the outcome on many levels.
i think its like 2 weeks before you are all normal and not at all not feeling great. it would be funny if you relapsed though
Deal wiz it...that happens when U Quit you'll be ok if U feel like this for more than 2 weeks contact your doctor!
Good for U! You should try and find some groups to get some extra support and maybe some better answers....Keep up the good work I hope you feel better soon. I live in the mid west and we have a # to find community resources called 211 call 411 to see what is in your area.
it will take time anywhere from 2 weeks up to 2 months. it takes a long time for the toxins of alcohol to completly get out of your system. just keep doing what you are. wash your system out with lots of water. I know I am on week 3 myself.
It sounds like you are going through withdrawal, go to this site and it should help you out a great deal. Good luck!

Its called withdrawl but if your serious about quiting it will be ok just stick with it.
Deep prayer brings spiritual reinforcement. When you center your attention wholeheartedly and singlemindedly upon the problem, you can give instructions to your own unconscious mind that will result in conditioning you self so that the desired response will take the place of the wasteful or destructive reaction that previously you have been given, trust In God and he will help you trough this, I promise
