Acute musculoskeletal chest pain?

Question:
I was diagnosed with this last night..what exactly is that...i had this tightening and throbbing feeling of the chest...it would come every 3 to 4 seconds and it hurt more when i moved or walked.they gave me baby aspirin and nitroglycerine...then i felt better instantly? At the ER they said i wasn't having a heartattack..so what happened to me and what in the world was that?

Answers:
get another opinion regarding your heart condition.you could be having an erratic heart rhythmn ...thats not necessarily a heart attack. were you doing anything different before you experienced chest pain?

you should go see a cardiologist to find out what is causing it...in the meantime relax if its not hurting anymore.
