is it bleeding because you are picking at dry flaky patches?? if soo i have the same problem and have for yearssss.i was told by a few Dr.'s that it could be eczema or psorisis on your scalp eww i know gross.also a friend who is a hair dresses has said she thinks it could be due to a shampoo alleregy. so she recomended all natuarl shampoo and conditioner with no harsh chemicals in it so go to a beauty store health food store or maybe even a drug store to find some.
If you have a bloody scalp, you should go to the doctor, it could be a vitamin or mineral deficiency.
Wow! If this has been going on for a year you need to go see a doctor they can give you something stronger!

Uhm i think you should call your doctor! You might have an infection or something. They will probably give you some medicated shampoo and it will go away. No need to worry just call your doctor. :)

Go to your Dr. sounds like psoriasis. He can give your medicine for it a cream. Read below:

We always kept Heinz vingegar on hand for any kind of skin or scalp problems, but the regulare vinegar is not as effective as the dark Heinz vinegar. When you take a bath pour 1/2 to 1 cup in your bath water for skin irritations, when washing your hair rinse it is a large glass of warm water with about 4 TBsp of Heinz vinegar in it, it clears up all kinds of things. Also you can make a tea out of it that tastes like apple cider and is a clense for your system. 1 cup of hot water, 1 teaspoon of apple cider (Heinz (dark) vinegar), and 3 Tablespoons of honey. It helps diareah, stomach cramps and all kinds of things, plus it cleans your system of impurities. Good luck Also as bad as I hate to mention this lice can itch terrible and you might have a relative check to make sure it is not that, if it is though you can buy RID at the store to get rid of them too.
try Ionil T (Galderma) I think are the makers. but yes see a doctor. will probably be a frustrating experience but give it a go. I understand what you are suffering. have you tried shaving your head? drastic I know but may help; have a dose of worming tablets (with mebenzadole) as this will eliminate a few options.
