My brother has this problem his small intenstine is closing up the problem he has is he wants to burp all the time and had like red hot pains in his back. He has had an endescope and this what they have found, he has got to go for a scan next week can anyone out there in English give us more light on this

Probably he is having spasm (like cramp) of the small bowel. This would cause pain and prevent air from leaving the stomach. Treatment is likely to be an anti spasmodic drug (buscopan is a common one).
