Just registered to be an organ donor but have had some health problems with my pancreas and right lung.?

I can't say for sure. But I am guessing that if your other organs are healthy they will be able to use the healthy organs. It depends if the problems that you are having with your pancreas and lung are systemic. For instance, if it is cancer and has metastisized they probably would not use any of your organs. Or infection. any thing that can impact your body as a whole would preclude the use of any of your organs. The best person to answer this question would be the doctor that is treating presently.
By the way, thank you so much for being willing to be an organ donor. I received a kidney transplant from someone like you in April of 2006. I feel like God has given me a whole second chance at life. I feel wonderful. I have returned to work and no longer feel like I am a burden to my family and society at large. I too am now an organ donor. Obviously, my kidneys are useless but my heart is in great shape! and my lungs. When God calls me home I hope to improve life on earth for someone else.
Keep up the good work! You have done the right thing just by registering as an organ donor!!
they willbe able to use the parts they can
No way to tell what will be healthy and usable when you pass; they use what is in good condition then
Bless you for thinking of others! "They" will use whatever is viable. This may be corneas, internal organs, tissues, bone marrow...the list is very large.
Read about organ donation at http://www.organdonor.gov/.
I am an organ donor. If my organs and tissue are not viable, I will be a medical cadaver.
Do not disqualify yourself. If you want to register to be a donor do so - if you have the opportunity to donate, the doctors will check to see which organs are viable, and recover only those.
